"Thus" could best be described as an emergence. The dense hum of a dozen tracks, all choked and smothered by equalization. The flat whistle of noise reduction, the bent pitch causing groans of dissonance. The occasional blatant disregard of time signature. Every moment is deliberate and honest. Not to say that honesty and deliberation haven't been a part of previous works, rather that this album marks the start of a much fuller blend of these two values.
